How To Make Glasgow Club Bookings

General booking information

  • If you're not a member or haven't already done so, you can see all our membership options or choose a free Pay As You Go (PAYG) account on our membership comparison page
  • Most activities can be booked up to 7-days ahead using our mobile app or booking website - once you're set up, the same login works for both.
  • Once you've installed our app you'll want to add venues (or 'clubs' as they're called in the app). For pitch bookings across the city you can add the "Football Glasgow" club. At the foot of this page is a quick video guide to downloading the app and adding clubs.

Booking a child into activities

  • It's vital you log out of your own Glasgow Club account first, then log in again with the email and password specific to the account of the child you want to secure a space for.
  • You can check which user account is logged in by tapping "My Info" in our mobile app or the "My Account" button at the top the page if you're on our booking website.
  • NOTE: PlayGym sessions require a booking for you and a separate booking for your child.

Booking for a family or multiple children

  • If you're booking for multiple children or a whole family, we're sorry our system is not ideal and we're working on a major project to improve it. You can, if you have the patience, work through the process of registering, logging in, booking then logging out for each family member. However, the app will give you an idea of availability and we recommend you phone book and pay by card.
  • You can also visit the venue and make one payment by card at reception but we can't guarantee there will be space. A lead individual can then scan a code on arrival to register Test and Protect information.

Important

  • Please only make and pay for bookings you're sure you will be able to attend.
  • Bookings paid by card can't be cancelled using our app or website.
  • If you can't attend an activity included in membership, please cancel using our app or booking website ideally 24-hours or more before the start so someone else can use the space.
  • To cancel a booking in the app, tap My Bookings, then tap the booking and choose cancel. If there's no option to cancel then it's either a paid booking or it's too late (less than 1 hour before it starts for most activities). See our FAQ on why 'paid' bookings can't be cancelled.
  • If classes are full, the waiting list is very effective. Add yourself to the waiting list and watch your emails on the day, in the hours leading up to the activity. Everyone on the list gets an email at the same time and spaces nearly always come up. Just click the link in the email to claim a space and if someone has beaten you to it, look out in 30 minutes time for another email. These stop being sent out an hour before the class, as we figure it takes that long to get changed and make it to the venue.
  • We're currently receiving a high volume of enquiries so we're unable to process refunds for missed sessions. Should Glasgow Life have to cancel a session we will automatically issue a refund for any PAYG payments made online. Refunds for card payments made at the venue can be provided at reception using the original payment method.
  • If you regularly cancel at short notice or fail to attend we may get in touch with you and if it becomes a common occurence we may need to restrict your ability to book to give others a chance (in line with our terms and conditions of booking and membership).
  • When sessions are fully booked we are unable to allow access to any additional attendees to protect the safety of customers and staff.

  • We suggest reading through all the remaining steps so you know how to complete this process properly before getting started - ESPECIALLY STEP 3!
  • When you've done this you can click this: Reactivation Link
  • On the page that pops up, click the green 'Next' button

  • REALLY IMPORTANT: Select "Yes, I have an email address and password"
  • NOTE: You may need to scroll down to find this if you're using a phone or tablet

  • Enter the email address you use for logging in to our app or booking site (it's most likely to be the same address we usually user send emails from us
  • Enter the Captcha (security numbers shown)
  • Now click the green Next button

Step 5

  • Check all the contact details are correct and complete anything that's missing
  • Tick the box to confirm you've read the terms and conditions once you've read through them
  • Tick the box to confirm you've read the Health Commitment Statement once you've read it
  • Click the green Next button

Step 6

  • Check the details and click the green Pay and Finish button
  • Don't worry - there's nothing to pay - this just confirms activation of your membership
  • IMPORTANT: Please log out and log back in again to allow the system to pick up the changes to your membership - this will stop you being charged for activities.
